Live Updates: rules for csbc bihar police driver recruitment exam 2024 changed
Latest Updated 22/07/2024: Now, to get recruited as a driver in Bihar Police, candidates of general category will have to score 40 marks in the physical efficiency test. Backward class candidates will have to score at least 36.5%, extremely backward class candidates will have to score 34%, and SC-ST and women category candidates will have to score 32%.

Those who score less than this will not be selected. Earlier, there was a provision of 30 marks for the general category. The Home Department has made a new provision by amending the Bihar Police Driver Cadre Rules. A notification related to this has been released. Now 60 questions will be asked from general knowledge and current issues in the written examination. Out of the remaining 40 questions, 20 will be related to Motor Vehicles Act and traffic signs and signals. While 20 questions will be related to general knowledge of parts, lubricating and maintenance of various vehicles, etc. and engineering and technical errors in vehicles. The marks for driving jeeps and cars on the testing track have also been re-determined.
