Latest Updated 04/07/2024: Pre-PhD Admission Entrance Test (PRT) will be held soon in Patliputra University. Academic Council has approved it. On Wednesday, under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. RK Singh, half a dozen cases including PRT were approved.

Registrar Prof. NK Jha said that in the meeting, approval was given for conducting PRT, syllabus of six subjects including Indian Social Value and Ethics, Sports Science, Functional Language under MDC in the graduation semester examination. Apart from this, 20 percent change in the syllabus of BCA and BSc IT was also approved.
These changes will be implemented from the year 2025. There was consensus on renaming the Department of Commerce Postgraduate Department as Department of Commerce and Management and renaming the Department of Labor and Social Welfare running in AN College as Department of Personal Management and Industrial Relation. Many including Vice Chancellor, DSW were present.
