Latest Updated 12/07/2024: A dharna was organized by the Covid-19 Laboratory Technician Association in Gardnibagh on Thursday. The association demanded that the technicians be reinstated and the working period be extended to 60 years.
Association president Rajeev Kumar said that they will sit on an indefinite dharna until their demands are met. Arwal MLA Mahanand Singh strongly condemned the lathicharge by the police on the lab technicians. He said that their demands will be placed in the assembly session. He also demanded that the lab technicians be reinstated permanently. Secretary Deepak Kumar said that they have become unemployed due to being removed from work.
