9 lakh seats reserved for girls for the admission in inter by ofss bihar board latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 11/07/2024: This time 9 lakh seats have been reserved for the admission of girls in Inter. A total of 17.5 lakh seats have been released on the OFSS portal by the Bihar Board.
Along with all the girls' higher secondary schools across the state, there will be seats for girls in co-ed schools as well. This time about five lakh girl students have passed the matriculation examination. All of them will get admission in schools in urban areas as well as in their panchayat. It is known that there are more than 15 hundred girls' higher secondary schools across the state. Apart from this, hundreds of boys' schools have been made co-ed. The number of only boys' schools is now negligible. The first selection list has been released. Under this, enrollment will be done till 14 July.

Here, Patna district has the highest number of seats for girl students, around 25 thousand. All the schools in Patna district are either for girls or have become co-ed. In such a situation, there is an open option for girl students to take admission.

This time around two lakh students of CBSE and other boards have applied online on OFSS. Around 80 thousand of these are only girl students. Please note that Bihar Board takes separate applications for CBSE and CISCE students. Due to the online process, CBSE students take admission in Inter.
