Live Updates: teachers who do not take training will not get annual salary increment by bihar education department
Latest Updated 12/06/2024: The Education Department said in a letter to the districts that teachers are being trained for their professional development from 3 July 2023. This training is mandatory for all. About six lakh teachers have received this training. But, still many teachers have not taken this training.
District education officials have been instructed to identify such teachers and get them trained till 30 June. Teachers who do not take training by June 30 will not get annual salary increment.

Jeevika didis will inspect mid-day meals
The education department has also decided that Jeevika didis will inspect the mid-day meal scheme running in schools. Regarding this, the education department has sent a letter to the rural development department on Tuesday. Jeevika didis will see whether food is being given to children in schools as per the menu or not? What is the quality of food? Is LPG being used to cook food or not? What is the status of the stock of food items?
