Latest Updated 22/06/2024: 5856 assistant teachers who received appointment letters under 12460 assistant teacher recruitment in council primary schools will be allotted schools through online medium from 27 to 29 June.

Basic Education Council Secretary Surendra Kumar Tiwari released the instructions to Basic Education Officers regarding school allocation on Friday. After the settlement of the zero district dispute, on the orders of the High Court, a total of 5856 appointment letters, 1796 and 4060, were distributed in the districts on 30 December and 7 January respectively, for appointment to 6470 vacant posts.
The 51 districts in which the postings are to be done include Firozabad, Mainpuri, Aligarh, Etah, Kasganj, Hathras, Mathura, Badaun, Pilibhit, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Kaushambi, Varanasi, Chandauli, Jaunpur, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Bhadohi, Hardoi, Sitapur, Rae Bareli, Unnao, Deoria, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Basti, Siddharthnagar, Lalitpur, Jalaun, Chitrakoot, Banda, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Ayodhya, Barabanki, Sultanpur, Amethi, Ambedkarnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Bahraich, Shravasti, Rampur, Bijnor, Amroha, Kanpur Dehat, Auraiya, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Ballia and Shamli.
