Latest Updated 03/06/2024: The situation of campus placement in IIT Patna is getting better every year. In the last two sessions, batch 2022 and 2023, students got more than 400 job offers.
According to sources, 97.65 percent of students have been placed in the session 2021-22 and 91.26 percent in 2022-23. More than 70 percent of B.Tech students have been placed so far for the year 2024.

In this, more than 285 students have received pre-placement offers and more than 295 students have received permanent offers. This year so far more than 135 companies have reached the campus for placement. The placement process is still going on. In this, more than 95 percent of the students have been placed in B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering branch.
In the year 2021-22, 213 students participated in placements, out of which 208 got job offers, in the year 2022-23, 261 out of 286 students were given placements. The maximum package received by BTech candidates for the year 2022 was Rs 61.30 lakh, and for the year 2023, the maximum package received was Rs 82.05 lakh.
