Latest Updated 01/06/2024: Guest teachers will be given the benefit of their experience for the recruitment in the higher secondary schools in the third phase being conducted by Bihar Public Service Commission. Guest teachers will get a weightage of five marks for each year of service period, which will be a maximum of 25 marks.
After the decision of Patna High Court, the Education Department has issued an order related to this on Friday. The department has also sent the letter to BPSC. However, it has been said in this letter that the department will file LPA against the said decision. The department has also said that this order will be affected by the outcome of the appeal.

It has been clarified in the letter that this benefit will be given to those who hold the prescribed qualification for appointment to the post of higher secondary teacher. It is known that on May 29, the High Court had issued an order in this regard.
