Latest Updated 19/06/2024: Coal India will provide financial assistance to candidates from the mining sector who clear the preliminary examination (PT) of civil service. Coal India has launched the Nirman (Nirman) scheme for this.
- To apply, it is necessary to be from mining area, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Woman or Transgender
Under this scheme, the company will provide a contribution of one lakh rupees from its CSR fund. Candidates who clear the PT and are from the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Women or Transgender can apply. Apart from this, the family income must be less than eight lakh rupees per annum. Poor candidates will also be given incentives for preparing for the mains and interview. This scheme is for those appearing in the Civil Service PT and Forest Department examination.
