Latest Updated 22/06/2024: Bihar School Examination Board has postponed the second competency examination to be held from 26 to 28 June on Friday. The board has said that the examination is being postponed due to unavoidable reasons. More than 85 thousand teachers will appear for this examination. However, the admit card was issued on Friday itself.

The examination is to be conducted for teacher candidates of primary school (class one to five), teacher candidates of middle school (class six to eight), teacher candidates of secondary school (class nine to ten) and teacher candidates of higher secondary school (class 11th to 12th). However, teacher organizations said that Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has also scheduled an examination for appointment to the post of head teacher. The examination for the post of head teacher is to be held on 28 and 29 June. Due to the clash of this examination, the teacher organizations had demanded the Bihar Board to extend the date.
