Admission will be done in a dozen colleges including PU's Law College
Latest Updated 26/06/2024: A dozen law colleges including the Law College of Patna University have got permission for admission from the new session. The Bar Council of India has given permission for admission from the new session 2024-25 to those colleges, letters are being sent by the council. The law college has received a letter regarding this on Monday evening.

Admission will be on 120 seats
College Principal Prof. Vani Bhushan said that admission will be done on the basis of entrance examination only. The college has been given permission for admission on 120 seats. Let us tell you that on 12 June, a five-member investigation team headed by Justice Mridula Mishra inspected the law college on behalf of the Bar Council of India. The points on which the college was instructed during the inspection of BCI last year. The number of seats could not be increased yet due to election code of conduct, non-cooperation from the state government in infrastructure, shortage of teachers, shortage of classrooms and not depositing the fees to BCI on time due to lack of funds in the college item on time.
College Principal Prof. Bhushan said that the matter is under consideration for increasing the number of seats. The process for this is going on. The Principal has written to the Student Welfare Dean and Registrar of Patna University and requested to start the admission process soon. Dean Anil Kumar said that the application process for admission will be started this week.
Media in-charge Dr. Virendra Paswan said that the college was constantly in touch with BCI for increasing seats and admission. The college will contact again to increase the seats.
