24 lakh students appeared in NEET and 13.16 lakh were successful
This year 13.16 lakh children have passed NEET exam. About 24 lakh students appeared in NEET UG. Students need 50 percent marks to pass the NEET UG exam. NTA has also released the NEET UG cut-off along with NEET Result 2024. This year the cutoff has increased for all categories.

Let us tell you that last year 11.45 lakh students had passed. A total of 20.38 lakh students had registered for NEET UG. This time 2406079 students have registered. At the same time, 23,33,297 students appeared in the examination. Out of these, 13,16,268 students were successful.
SC and ST category cutoff increased
This year the NEET UG cutoff has increased. If we talk about Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, the cutoff is 145-129. Last year it was 136-107.
This year the cutoff percentile for unreserved, EWS is 50 and the cutoff score is 164. At the same time, the percentile of OBC category candidates is 40 and the cutoff score is 163 to 129, SC's percentile is 40, cutoff score is 163 to 129, ST's percentile is 40th and the cutoff score is 163 to 129, NEET 2024 cutoff percentile for UR, EWS-PDWD is 40th and the cutoff score is 163 to 146, for OBC-PWD it is 40 and the cutoff score is 145 to 129. Percentile 40 for SC-PWD and cutoff score 145 to 129 and percentile 40 for ST-PWD and cutoff score 141-129.
Result released 10 days before the scheduled time
NEET UG exam was conducted on May 5. The result was to be released on June 14, but the result was released 10 days before the scheduled time. NTA released the provisional answer key of NEET UG on May 29. After this, the candidates were given time till June 1 to raise objections against it. NTA released the final answer key of NEET UG on Tuesday, and released the result immediately after that. This year a record 23.50 lakh students had registered for NEET UG.
