Latest Updated 21/05/2024: The admission process in Patna Law College will start soon. Admission in the new session of LLB 2024-25 is expected to be on increased seats.
There will be 180 seats which are currently 120 seats.

Principal Prof. Vani Bhushan and Bursar Dr. Virendra Paswan met Bar Council of India Chairman Manan Kumar Mishra on Monday. BCI Chairman assured to increase the seats. However, he first inquired about the actual condition of the college. For what reasons were the seats reduced? Now there are 14 permanent teachers in the college, there is shortage of some rooms.

In this regard, the Principal said that Manan Kumar Mishra, a former student of Patna Law College and Chairman of Bar Council of India, also belongs to this college. The college has received recognition from BCI from 2023 to 2024. In the letter sent by the college to BCI, a request has been made for recognition and increase in seats. However, the college has demanded to increase the number of seats to 300.
On the other hand, Mr. Mishra has assured that the college will be inspected within this month and permission will be given to increase the number of seats and enrolment. The Principal and Bursar honored former student Manan Kumar Mishra by covering him with a shawl.
