Latest Updated 26/05/2024: Patliputra University has extended the last date for filling the application form for admission in the first semester of graduation. Now students can fill the application till 4 June. Earlier the last date of application was 25 May. Till now one lakh 10 thousand students have applied. There are one lakh 20 thousand seats in Patliputra University.
Admission will take place in the first semester of session 2024-2028 under the choice based credit system. Admission in PPU can be done in the constituent and affiliated degree colleges of Patna and Nalanda districts. Vice Chancellor Prof. Following the instructions of RK Singh, the application date has been extended. The first merit list will be released on 6 June, through which nominations will be taken till 13 June. On the other hand, classes in colleges will start from 4 July.

- Validation of nominations by colleges 15th June
- Publication of second merit list on June 16
- Last date for nomination from second merit list: June 24

- Last date of nomination from third merit list – 1st July
- Validation of students nominated from the third merit list 2.July
- Classes start on 4th July
Dean of Student Welfare Prof. AK Nag said that after the completion of the nomination process in three rounds, the spot round will be organized. Its date will be given on the enrollment portal. The enrollment process will continue on Sundays and holidays also. Online application fee for General, BC 1 and BC 2 category candidates will be Rs 600. Whereas SC-ST category candidates will have to pay Rs 450.
