Latest Updated 29/05/2024: The education department has sought the number of students who passed the special examination of class IX and XI in all the districts. Secondary education director Kanhaiya Prasad has sent a letter in this regard to all the district education officers on Tuesday.

The department has said in the letter sent to the districts that separate special classes were conducted for the students who failed or did not appear in the annual examination. After this, special examination of these students was conducted through Bihar School Examination Board. After evaluating their answer sheets and promoting them to the next class, the district-wise number of successful students has been sought till June 10. The department also said that special classes were conducted for 21 thousand 149 students of class IX and 12 thousand 906 students of class 11 across the state.
