Latest Updated 07/05/2024: Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has extended the last date for admission in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) from 5 May to 15 May.
Admission will be done in more than 111 ITIs
Admission will take place on 32,772 seats in more than 111 ITIs of the state. Corrections can be made in the application form from 17 to 18 May. Admit card is on 28th May, entrance exam (ITI CAT) is on 9th June. Candidates wishing to take admission in ITI can download the prospectus by visiting the website of BCECE. The application will be completed in seven stages. General candidates will have to pay Rs 750, SC, ST will have to pay Rs 100 and disabled students will have to pay Rs 430.

BCECEB has said that candidates from all the districts of the state are eligible for admission to 25 percent of the total seats in Government Industrial Training Institutes under the state. Out of total 32,772 seats in IIT, there are 8193 General seats, 5649 SC seats, 659 ST seats, 8193 EBC seats, 5906 BC seats and 3272 EWS seats. BCECEB has said that the application will be filled online only. Age limit is minimum 14 years till 1st August 2024, but for Mechanic Motor Vehicle and Mechanic Tractor the minimum age on the said date must be 17 years.
