Latest Updated 24/05/2024: Employed teachers who pass the competency test will be posted in new schools by the end of June. With this aim in mind, the education department has started preparations. For this, counseling of teachers will be started in the second week of June.
All districts have been instructed to provide the list of vacant posts in schools to the department, so that it can be uploaded on the respective portal. Along with their contribution in new schools, they will get the status of special teachers and will become government employees. The department has also decided that counseling of teachers will be done in the concerned district only.
It may be noted that in view of the ban on counseling in the Code of Conduct, the department had earlier decided that everyone would be posted together after conducting three competency tests. Due to delay in the second competency examination, the department has now decided that the willing teachers who have passed the first competency examination will be posted. One lakh 87 thousand teachers have passed the first competency examination. After the results of second and third phase competency test are declared, the department will take a separate decision on the same.

The department has also decided that teachers who score better marks in the competency test will be posted in schools in urban areas. Keeping this in view, separate lists of vacant posts for schools in urban and rural areas are being prepared. School allocation of teachers will be done through software. Before this, the list of vacant posts and teachers will be uploaded to the software sequentially. It is known that the employed teachers who pass the competency test have to be posted afresh in the schools of their allotted district.

Stop salary of all DEO-DPOs of the state started
Patna. The closed salary of all DEO and DPO establishments of the state has now been started. The Education Department has issued the order on Thursday. Due to delay in payment of salaries of teachers reinstated by BPSC, the department had stopped the salaries of the said officials. The salary has been started on the instructions of Additional Chief Secretary of the department KK Pathak. In the order issued by the department's Director Administration Subodh, it has been said that due to negligence in paying the salaries of teachers, a ban was imposed on the salary payment of all DEO-DPOs for the month of April. Clarification was also sought from DEO and DPO in this regard. After reviewing the explanations of the officials and payment of salaries to the teachers, the department has also given relief to these officials.
