Live Updates: ban on wearing clothes with big buttons in jee advanced exam 2024
Latest Updated 23/05/2024: JEE Advanced is to be held on 26 May for the admission in 23 IITs of the country. There will be special attention on online centres. Special preparations have been made to ensure that there are no irregularities in the examination.
- Exam will be held on 26th, online centers will be closely monitored
- Wear slippers and sandals instead of shoes
13588 candidates are appearing from Bihar. It is absolutely not allowed to bring any other electronic device including watch, mobile phone, Bluetooth device, earphone, microphone in the examination hall. If caught, action will be taken by canceling the candidature. Candidates should not wear any thing like ring, ring, bracelet, ear rings, nose pin, amulet, earrings, chain, necklace, pendant, badge, brooch, clothes with big buttons etc. to the examination centre. You will have to wear slippers and sandals instead of shoes. Wearing a simple watch is allowed.

Students allotted lab through barcode reader will be allotted lab for taking the exam at the entry point of the examination centers by reading the barcode given on the admit cards of the students through barcode reader. Scramble pads will be provided in each paper for doing rough work. The student can take the scramble pad with him after the completion of the examination. You will have to carry your own pen and pencil in the examination.
