NTA JEE Mains: 39 students banned for three years latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 03/05/2024: NTA has banned 39 students for wrongdoing in JEE Main exam. They will not be able to appear in the examination for three years. NTA has issued its notification on Wednesday.
The banned students have been accused of using unfair means during JEE-Main. In this, information has been given about the withheld results of the students who appeared for the examination through multiple application forms and the action taken due to the use of unfair means. In the notification, it has been said that in the results of JEE-Main Session-1 and 2 released, the results of many students were withheld. Reasons were being continuously asked from these students through e-mail & other mediums. In the public notice and information bulletin of JEE-Main, it was stated that multiple application forms filled by a student will not be accepted.

If found so, the result can be stopped. It can also be cancelled. Multiple applications will be considered unfair means and strict action will be taken.
NTA clarified that as per directions of Court, a student can't obtain 2 score cards from different application forms in same year. Therefore, the best score of those students who have appeared for exam with the different application numbers has been released.
