Latest Updated 07/05/2024: Police has arrested 13 people involved in rigging the NEET UG exam. The police team was conducting extensive raids in search of all these people since Sunday. The arrested accused include setters, candidates and their guardians.
According to Ayush Raj, the candidate caught in the FIR, he had received the question paper only on Saturday night. They were shown the question paper and asked to remember the answers. The same question papers appeared the next day in the examination to be held on Sunday.

Any conclusion can be reached only after investigation. First four people were arrested in this case. Later, nine students including their parents and setter were arrested. After presenting everyone in the court on Monday evening, they were sent to jail.
Car and two mobile phones seized from junior engineer. Patna Police team arrested BUDCO Junior Engineer (JE) Sikandar Yadvendu (Vidhan, Samastipur) in this case and seized the car and two mobile phones from him. His associates Akhilesh Kumar (Sultanpur, Danapur), Bittu Kumar (Garh Nokha, Rohtas) and candidate Ayush Raj (Sultanpur, Danapur) were caught.

On searching the vehicle, admit cards of four candidates were found. When the police asked the three about this, Sikandar, a JE by profession, told that he gets the setting done in NEET through Sanjeev, Rocky, Amit and Nitish. When the police investigated an admit card, it turned out to be that of Ayush Raj.

Ayush was giving the examination in room number 28 of DAV Public School, BSEB Colony Punaichak. The police team contacted the examination superintendent of the center located at DAV School at 4:05 in the evening. After the exam was over, Ayush Raj was caught from there. According to the FIR lodged, he informed the police about the question paper being leaked. The candidate told that the setters had given him the question paper the night before and asked him to memorize the answers. The question paper was given at Learn Boys Hostel and Learn Play School located at Khemnichak in Ramakrishnanagar police station area. According to sources, this is mentioned in the FIR.
