Latest Updated 02/04/2024: In Kendriya Vidyalayas also, the admission process for all classes including Kindergarten started from Monday. But this time the quota of students coming to study in KV from other schools has been reduced. Now only 32 new admissions will be made instead of 40 in all classes except class 11th.

Notification for admission in the new session was released by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan on March 29. On the basis of this, now there will be only 32 new admissions in KV. In this also three percent seats will be reserved for special students. Along with this, the number of students in class one has been fixed at 40 and in other classes at 45. Not only this, in case of transfer in the middle of the session, priority will be given to KV students. Whereas if seat is not available, no student will get the facility to change school. Even if seats are available, only students will be given priority.

RTE website did not open on the first day

The process of admission in private schools under the Right to Education Act could not start from Monday. The website created for RTE did not work on the very first day. Due to which the parents were very worried. It is being told that the website could not open due to technical reasons. The website is likely to open by Tuesday or Wednesday. Every year, 25 percent needy students are given admission under RTE in private schools. For this, the Education Department had released a notification to open the website from April 1. According to which parents could apply for RTE from 1 April. But when parents started online applications on Monday, there was no progress after the website was opened. Meanwhile, Block Education Officer Raipur PL Bharti said that the website could not be opened due to technical problems.
