Bihar Board Matric Result 2024: 82.91 candidates passed, 23 out of 51 top 10 girl students.

Latest Updated 01/04/2024: Bihar Board released the result of matriculation examination on Sunday. It has become the first board in the country to release the results of matriculation examination. This time 16 lakh 64 thousand 252 students appeared in the matriculation examination, out of which 13 lakh 79 thousand 842 students got success. The success percentage was 82.91. The result is about two percent more than last year.


Bihar Board Chairman Anand Kishore released the result in his office room on Sunday. Shivankar Kumar of District School Purnia stood first in the state by scoring 97.80 percent (489) marks. At the same time, Adarsh Kumar of V High School Movajidpur North of Samastipur district, who stood second, has got 97.60 percent (488) marks. The names of four students are at the third position. These include Aditya Kumar of Simultala Residential School, Jamui, New Upgrade High School Sidhap Parsi Ladaniya, Suman Kumar Purve of Madhubani, Palak Kumari of Higher Secondary School, Hussepur, Ekma and Sajiya Parveen of SMT High School, Vaishali. All four have got 486 marks (97.20 percent). A total of 51 students have made it to the top ten. This includes 28 boys and 23 girls.

Bihar Board Chairman said that the number of girls appearing in the matriculation examination in Bihar has increased. The educational quality of Bihar has improved significantly. The effect of the examination conducted every month by Bihar Board is also visible in the matriculation results. Told that 8,05,467 students had appeared in the examination, out of which 6,80,293 were successful. Their success percentage was 84.46. Whereas 8,58,786 girl students had appeared, out of which 6,99,549 got success. The success percentage of girls has been 81.46.


Chief Minister congratulated the successful candidates


Patna. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to the successful candidates in the matriculation examination. The Chief Minister also congratulated the Bihar Board and the Education Department for declaring the results in a very short time. Expressing happiness over the performance of the girl students, the Chief Minister said that their parents also deserve congratulations for this.


Topper from 27 districts, maximum from Samastipur-Jamui


51 students included in the top-10 are from 27 districts of the state. There is no topper from 11 districts. The maximum number of toppers, 6 each, are from Jamui and Samastipur. All six are students of Simultala Vidyalaya from Jamui. Two students from Patna are included in this list. At the same time, five from Madhubani, four from Supaul and two each from Vaishali, Aurangabad, Bhojpur, Shivhar, Darbhanga, Nalanda and Purnia, Saran, Jehanabad, Sheikhpura, Khagaria, Lakhisarai, Munger, Nawada, Siwan, Buxar, Gopalganj, Rohtas, Katihar, Muzaffarpur, West Champaran and Saharsa include one each.


Application for scrutiny from 3rd April

If any student is not satisfied with his marks in any one subject or any other subject, he can apply online for scrutiny of the answer sheet of that subject from 3rd to 9th April.
