Only boys will be enrolled in any class in NSCBAV Dhanbad latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 13/04/2024: The capacity of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential School (NSCBAV) Dhanbad has been fixed at 160 students (seats) from the new session 2024-25. Of these, 100 seats have been earmarked for classes 1st to 8th, 30-30 for classes 9th and 10th. From the current session, only boys will be enrolled in any class in NSCBAV Dhanbad.

Instructions to take nominations on vacant seats till 25th April
Project Approval Board, Ministry of Education, Government of India has approved a total of 4327 seats in 26 schools/hostels running in Jharkhand. There are 15 eligibility criteria for the admission. In these, children with orphans or single parents, children who have no home, children who have run away from home, children of laborers working in mining areas, brick kilns and other children will be enrolled. All the admission processes for the current session have to be completed by 25th April.

In the instructions released by Jharkhand Education Project Council, it has been said that the admission of children studying in class eight in this school must be done on priority in class nine. In case the seats of 30 children are not filled even after enrollment in class ninth, nomination of other children on the remaining seats can be taken from outside. If required in special circumstances, the child can be enrolled in an age appropriate class at any time in between the sessions. The project said that this time the children appearing for the matriculation examination have to be enrolled in the nearby government plus two school. It has been asked to canvass for nomination. Instructions have been given to complete the nomination process by the scheduled date.
