Latest Updated 21/04/2024: Five main accused have been arrested from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh in the paper leak case of the third phase of BPSC teacher recruitment examination. There is one girl and 4 boys in it. They were arrested by the special team of EOU with the help of the local police there.
All of them were arrested from a hotel in Ujjain on Saturday morning. Where these people were living on fake name and address. After their arrest, these five accused were produced in the local court there and after this all of them are being brought to Patna on transit remand. They are expected to reach here by Sunday afternoon. On Monday (April 22), all of them will be presented in Patna court.

At around 5 am on March 15, an intensive raid was conducted with the help of Jharkhand Police in Kohinoor Hotel and Marriage Hall located in Kurra, Padma and Barhi of Hazaribagh. During this time, it was found that apart from many rooms of the hotel, more than 270 candidates were being made to sit in the marriage hall and make them memorize the answers to the questions. EOU had constituted an 8-member SIT under the leadership of SP to investigate the matter. Since then the investigation of the entire matter is going on.
