Latest Updated 22/04/2024: The five main accused arrested from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh in the BPSC teacher reinstatement Tier-3 paper leak case were brought to Patna on Sunday. The special team of EOU (Economic Offenses Unit) reached Patna in the evening with the five accused including a girl. They will be presented in Patna court on Monday (22 April). From here EOU will take them on remand. After this, they will be questioned on many important aspects in the paper leak case.
It is said that the five accused arrested from Ujjain are the kingpins of this case. EOU can get many important information by interrogating them. Who gave them the paper, how did they leak the paper, where and how did they spread the leaked pamphlet, which rank of government and private people were involved in the whole racket, to whom did they give the question paper... etc. Answers to questions can be found by interrogating them. Who and how made the preparations by keeping more than 270 candidates in the Kohinoor Hotel and Marriage Hall near Hazaribagh and making them memorize the answers? Which people of Jharkhand and Bihar had cooperated in this, who was its mastermind, there is a possibility of getting answers to many such important questions. The investigation team is likely to make more revelations during the interrogation of the accused.
It is noteworthy that in this case, on 14 March, a member of the gang who leaked the question paper from a hotel in Karbigahiya area of Patna was arrested. After this, a massive raid was conducted in this case and more than a dozen suspects were detained. Information about these five was obtained after interrogating many such people. Since then, the investigation team was continuously busy collecting all the information related to them and finding their location.
Finally, after confirming his presence in Ujjain, he was arrested from there.
