Latest Updated 10/04/2024: The result of National Income cum Merit Scholarship Test (NMMSS) has been released on Tuesday. SCERT has uploaded the result on its website. This time 5303 students from across the state have got success. This is the highest in the last 16 years. For the first time, so many students from across the state will get the benefit of scholarship.

This includes 3305 boys and 1998 girls. Its written examination was held on January 7. Let us tell you that in this scholarship examination, boys and girls studying in eighth class in government schools participate.
This scholarship is given to economically weak and meritorious students. This scholarship of Rs 12,000 is given annually from class 9th to 12th. According to SCERT, the total quota of Bihar is 5433. This time too the quota was not fulfilled, but the number of successful students has increased.
Maximum students from Patna were successful. Maximum 315 students were successful from Patna district. At second position, 250 students from Muzaffarpur and 239 students from Samastipur got success. Whereas, the least number of students have got success from three districts Kishanganj, Shekhpura and Shivhar. This includes 46 students from Kishanganj, 30 from Sheikhpura and 23 from Shivhar. Let us tell you here that this time the result has been better in the last ten years. Last year the result was only 4565 students were successful.
