Latest Updated 04/04/2024: There is good news for the students of Tundi, East Tundi, Nirsa, Baghmara, Govindpur and Jharia. Children of seven schools will not have to go to another school after class eight to study till class nine.


In the seven schools upgraded from middle school to high school, classes 9 will start from the current session 2024-25. DEO Nishu Kumari has released the related instructions. It was said in the instructions that the students who have passed the eighth class of these upgraded high schools and the students of the eighth class of the middle schools of the feeder area should be enrolled in the ninth class. Instructions were also given to start studies of class ninth. The Department of School Education and Literacy has also changed the names of the concerned upgraded schools.

Now they will be known by a new name. These include Upgraded High School Kashitand Mahubani, Upgraded High School Charkitand, Upgraded High School Joradih, Upgraded High School Palarpur, Upgraded High School Rupan, Upgraded High School Barwatand and Upgraded High School Patharbangla. What is important is that the students of the said area will no longer have to go to far away schools for high school studies.
