Latest Updated 16/04/2024: With the help of Jeevika Library, more than 1300 students applied for admission. It is known that these days the libraries run by Jeevika in 100 blocks of 32 districts across the state are helping rural talents in getting jobs and guiding them in taking enrollment in higher educational institutions.

Let us tell you that with the help of these libraries, candidates have filled the examination form for admission in institutions like JNU, BHU, AIIMS, IHM. These include 648 applications for CUET UG, 165 for B.Sc Nursing, 490 for Para Medical and 19 applications for PG Diploma and MBA. At the same time, more than 50 percent of those applying for admission in higher educational institutions are girls. Most of the applications have been made to graduate from educational institutions like Delhi and Banaras Hindu University. Girls have shown most interest in hotel management and nursing.

Vidya didis helped: With the help of Jeevika didis present in each library, the learners filled the form. A helpline number was issued to fill the form free of cost in libraries. Vidya didis have guided the rural youth as well as their parents.
