Latest Updated 03/03/2024: To maintain the purity and transparency of recruitment examinations, the state government has canceled the preliminary examination for the recruitment of Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer. The investigation of the entire matter has been handed over to STF.

Keeping in mind the interests of the youth, CM Yogi Adityanath has directed to conduct the preliminary examination again in six months and has also asked to hand over the investigation to STF with instructions to take strict action against the people involved in it.

The Chief Minister on Saturday reviewed the Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer Preliminary Examination-2023 organized by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on 11 February. Complaints were received about the some questions of the question paper allegedly going viral on the social media in the examination. In this regard, the government had asked the general public for available evidence of facts related to influencing the examination.


The CM directed the government to cancel the preliminary examination in both the sessions on the basis of the evidence received and the report provided by the Commission.


Two more accused arrested in UPPRPB UP Police Constable Recruitment Paper leak


Ajay Singh Chauhan and Sonu Singh Yadav, two members of the gang who leaked the form of constable recruitment examination conducted by Uttar Pradesh Recruitment and Promotion Board last month, were arrested by STF late on Friday night. Both were caught near the Kisan Market in Lucknow.


Persons involved in such criminal acts will be identified and strict action will be taken against them. STF has been asked to complete the investigation of the case as soon as possible.
