Live News Update: Khagaul's Shubham arrested in UPPRPB UP Police Recruitment Paper leak
Latest Updated 17/03/2024: UP STF with the help of Khagaul Police has arrested Dr. Shubham Mandal in the case of leaking Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Exam paper. He was caught from Mandal House in Adarsh Colony, Khagaul on the morning of 14th.
During interrogation, the accused revealed that Ravi Attri had promised him Rs 20 lakh to crack the UP Police Recruitment Exam paper. On February 5, he was called by plane from Patna to Ahmedabad. After this, he along with Ravi Attri, Rajeev and other accused stayed at Dashmesh Hotel in Naroda Chiloda, Ahmedabad. During 48 hours of interrogation, Shubham revealed that on the night of February 5, Shivam and Rohit had made him enter the warehouse. After entering through the window, he kept the box containing the question paper in a safe place and with the help of a screwdriver, pliers and a nail, he opened the hinges of the box from the back and took out the paper. The paper was scanned in Rajiv's mobile, which Shubham had brought with him.
After this, the paper was stuck with a tape and kept there and the box was closed. An advance of Rs 5 lakh was given for this work and Rs 15 lakh was promised to be paid later. During investigation, it was revealed that the papers for the UP Police recruitment examination were printed in the press of Ahmedabad. TCI company was given the responsibility to bring these papers to UP. After the papers were printed, they were sealed in boxes and kept in the company's warehouse in Ahmedabad. The information was given to Abhishek by Shivam Giri and Rohit Pandey. Abhishek was in contact with mafia Ravi Attri. Ravi, his associate Rajeev Nayan Mishra and others had together carried out the paper leak.

Four accused were caught three days ago
Meerut unit of UP STF had detained four accused from Ghaziabad on Thursday in the paper leak case. On Friday, two employees of TCI company Shivam Giri, Rohit Kumar Pandey and a former employee Abhishek Kumar Shukla were arrested. Dr Shubham Mandal was taken into custody for questioning. Leader Ravi Attri resident of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Rajeev Nayan Mishra along with Ankit Mishra (all three Prayagraj), Delhi Police Havildar Vikram Pahal (Haryana) and some others have been shown absconding.
