Live News Update: Exam of 15 subjects will be held in one day by CUET UG
Latest Updated 12/03/2024: In CUET UG, examination of 15 subjects will be held in one day. There will be offline exams in the subjects for which there are more than 1.5 lakh applications.
- Last date is 26th March, amendment will be done till 29th
- There will be offline examination in the subject for which more than 1.5 lakh applications are received.
The last date of application is 26 March. There will be amendments in the application form by 29th and the city for the examination will be announced on 30th April. Admit card will be made available in the 2nd week of May. CUET UG will be held from 15 May to 31 May. The result will be declared on 30 June. The decision on which subjects will be conducted offline and which subjects will be covered under Computer Based Test (CBT) will depend on the applications of the students. UGC Chairman Prof M Jagadish Kumar has said that if we look at the applications for two years, the examinations of 12 to 15 subjects can be conducted offline.

These science subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology & Computer Science. Whereas Arts includes subjects like History, Political Science & Commerce includes subjects like Business Studies, Accounts. Languages include English and Hindi. More applications come in all these subjects. For this reason, offline exam in these subjects can be organized in one day only. The final datesheet for exam will be released after the announcement of Lok Sabha election dates.
