Live News Update: Approval to start studies in 154 medical colleges of Bihar by NMC
Latest Updated 14/03/2024: The National Medical Council (NMC) has released the list of colleges starting new PG courses and increasing seats in the 2024-25 session. NMC has given approval to 154 colleges to start new PG courses.
At the same time, the number of seats will be increased in 50 colleges. The courses that will be started by the colleges include MD - Immunology Hematology and Blood Transfusion, MCh Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, MD Emergency Medicine, MD Forensic Medicine, MD Community Medicine, MD Radio Diagnosis etc.

Information for opening PG seats for the academic year 2024-25 has been sent on e-mail. 10 medical colleges had requested to start new PG courses. At the same time, 34 had requested to withdraw their applications for increase in seats. NMC has released the list of colleges on the website. It is noteworthy that a total of 1010 applications were received for starting PG courses in existing medical colleges for the academic year 2024-25.
