Latest Updated 30/03/2024: Patna High Court heard the case of cancellation of the result declared for recruitmebt to the post of Computer Science teacher. The court sought a reply from the state govt BPSC.
Counter affidavit sought within 4 weeks
Both were ordered to file counter affidavits within four weeks and answer the questions raised in the petition. A single bench of Justice Anjani Kumar Sharan heard the application filed by Brajesh Das & others. The court was told that the Commission had published an advertisement on 30 May last year for the reinstatement of teachers of various subjects. There were 8,395 posts of the Computer Science teacher. Notification was issued for the first time on 28 August for verification. STET result was released on 3 October 2023. The 2nd notification came out on 10 November.
But despite the seats remaining vacant, the candidates were not selected. He said that time was given to upload the documents from 18 to 30 October 2023. Due to this, the genuine candidates, whose qualifications were completed before July 22, 23, could not be selected.
Hearing on recruitment of physics teachers took place
Patna High Court heard the matter of recruitment of physics teachers in higher secondary schools. The court ordered the govt to file its reply within two weeks. A single bench of Justice Anjani Kumar Sharan heard the application filed on the behalf of Murari Kumar Gupta. In this, a demand was made to the court to allow the applicants to appear in the STET. Also demanded to give relaxation in age limit to the candidates. Now, the hearing will take place after 4 weeks.
