Latest Updated 27/03/2024: The cases of student suicides in Kota, Rajasthan, which is known as the coaching hub, are not showing any signs of stopping. On Tuesday, another student preparing for NEET committed suicide by hanging himself.
The deceased student has been identified as Mohammad Uruj Khan, a resident of Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh. Who was preparing for the exam by staying in Kota for the last one year. The deceased was living in a society located on Dakania Road.
According to information received from the police, the family members of the deceased student had called him on Tuesday morning, but he did not pick up the phone, after which the family members called his friends. When the police reached the spot, broke the door and entered, the student was found hanging from the fan. No suicide note has been found from the student. Last year, a total of 27 students preparing for the examinations had committed suicide. At the same time, a total of 6 students have committed suicide so far in 2024.
