Live News Update: 700 applications so far for BPL Admission Dhanbad
Latest Updated 05/03/2024: So far, 700 online applications have been received for BPL admission in the session 2024-25 in recognized public schools of Dhanbad.
Last date of application 15 March
The last date for application from RTEdhanbad.in website is 15 March. In such a situation, there is every possibility that the total number of online applications may reach one thousand.

As per the orders of the department, the income certificate of the guardian should be less than Rs 72 thousand. Income certificate before August 2023 will not be valid. Income certificates of a large number of parents are stuck. For this reason the number of applicants is still relatively less. Parents are waiting to receive income certificate. Let us tell you that there are 775 BPL seats in 75 public schools. Earlier the last date for online application was March 2. On the request of parents, it was postponed to 15 March. Parents have to choose three schools at the time of application.
Scrutiny of applications will be done after the last date. After scrutiny, the applications will be verified. Verification will be done by CRP and BRP. After that the selected students will be allotted school. Allocation of schools will be based on the distance from school to school. Students with less distance will be given priority. Age calculation will be done on the basis of 31 March 2024.
