Latest Updated 21/03/2024: All the main accused in the question paper leak of the third phase of BPSC teacher reinstatement exam have been arrested. EOU's SIT will interrogate all of them by taking them on remand.
On Wednesday, the remand of three main accused Vishal Kumar Chaurasia, Abhishek Kumar and Vicky was obtained from the court level in the evening. The process of interrogating them will start from March 21. Their remand period is two days. After this, other accused will also be interrogated on remand. Information will be collected as to how they got the information about the Kolkata press to which this question paper was sent for printing. According to information received from sources, some officers and personnel of BPSC are also under investigation in this matter.

Raids were conducted at about a dozen places in Bihar and Jharkhand in search of suspects. The raid continued till late Wednesday night. In this case, all the electronic evidences like laptop, mobile, computer, pen drive etc. seized from Hazaribagh and Karbigahiya of Patna will be examined by FSL (Forensic Science Lab). It will be seen whether any file or other things were deleted. If something has been deleted, it will be recovered.
Here, the SIT formed to investigate this matter has asked BPSC to preserve the related computers and laptops. Along with this, it has also been asked to save all the documents and other files.
So that they can be checked at any time. If deletion of such files comes to light, then these can also be investigated by FSL. Currently, SIT is busy investigating all aspects related to this.
