Latest Updated 13/02/2024: The result of Lower PCS-2021 has been released by Uttarakhand Public Service Commission. Haldwani resident Vaibhav Joshi has become the topper. While Avnish Singh got second position and Anurag Sharma got third position.


Vaibhav Joshi, resident of Kamaluvaganja, has got the first position in the state in the Lower PCS examination of Uttarakhand Combined State (Civil) Lower Subordinate Services. Vaibhav's father Rajendra Joshi, a native of Chinakhan, Almora, is retired as a senior manager from State Bank and mother Usha Joshi is a housewife. Father told that Vaibhav was educated in Almora and Kanpur.

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission had released a notification in August 2021 inviting online applications for 191 posts in various departments under the Uttarakhand Combined State (Civil) Under Subordinate Services Examination-2021. Commission Secretary Girdhari Singh Rawat said that the final stage result of the candidates on 191 posts has been released. This includes 36 Naib Tehsildars, 27 Deputy Jailors, 25 Supply Inspectors, 49 Marketing Inspectors, nine Labor Enforcement Officers, 10 Excise Inspectors, two Tax Officers, two from Senior Sugarcane Development Inspector, 22 from Sugarcane Development Inspector, Khandsari. The final selection result for four posts of Inspector has been declared. Since the matter is pending in the court, the selection result for the post of Sugarcane Development Inspector has been kept in a sealed envelope.


Mayank and Sanjana topper in guard exam


The final selection result of Jail Guard Examination-2022 has been released by Uttarakhand Public Service Commission in the order of merit. On the posts of prison guard, Mayank has got the first position, Mangal Singh Mehar has got the second position and Sachin Rana has got the third position, while on the posts of female prison guard, Sanjana has got the first position, Diksha Nidhi has got the second position and Deepa has got the third position. Commission Secretary Girdhari Singh Rawat said that candidates were selected for 261 posts of jail guard and 24 posts of women prisoner guard.
