Same paper from class 3 to 8 in the government schools of UP by SCERT latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 13/02/2024: Be it Deoria or Saharanpur or Sonbhadra and Lalitpur. There will be similar question papers for students of classes 3 to 8 in primary, upper primary and Kasturba Gandhi Girls Schools of the state. The government is going to take this step with the aim of bringing uniformity in the examinations. SCERT will be responsible for preparing question papers for annual-half-yearly examinations.

For the upcoming annual examination, SCERT will prepare four types of model question papers for each class from class three to eight and submit it to the Basic Education Department and the department will select one of them and send it through the Basic Education Officers of all the districts. Will reach all the schools in the districts. Till now, question papers were prepared at the school level only under the supervision of the headmaster. In many schools, examinations were conducted by writing question papers on the black board, which were full of mistakes.
