Generic exam postponed till further orders by BBMKU latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 29/02/2024: In view of the demands of former students and student unions and other reasons including elections, the BBMKU Dhanbad administration has finally postponed the examination of Generic II subject, which was scheduled to start from 1 March, till further orders.
- Many colleges were acquired for election work training.
- Due to PM's arrival, security personnel were deployed in many colleges.
Controller of Examinations Dr. Suman Kumar Varnwal has released a notification in this regard. Hindustan had prominently raised other issues including the clash of the date of generic examination with the examination date of B.Ed and PG in other universities. If sources are to be believed, this examination may start in the second week of March. The university will start preparations for this soon. Help of B.Ed colleges will be taken for the examination. Controller of Examinations Dr. Suman Varnwal has said in the order issued that the examination of second generic subjects was to be held from 1 March to 11 March in various examination centers of Dhanbad-Bokaro.

In view of the Prime Minister's arrival in Dhanbad on 1 March, the district administration has acquired some colleges as accommodation centers for police officers and personnel from March 28 till the end of the program. Many colleges of Dhanbad and Bokaro have been taken over by the district administration from 3 March to 31 March for election work. In such a situation, the second generic subject examination conducted by the university is being affected.
