Live News Update: 177 applications have been received so far for the science festival in Patna Women's College
Latest Updated 26/02/2024: A three-day science festival is being organized at Patna Women's College from 28th February on National Science Day. So far 177 students have applied for this. Students from different colleges have registered for different competitions based on science subjects.
Most applications have come for the cooking competition. In this, students will prepare various types of delicious dishes from coarse grains as well as other nutritious grains. After this, maximum participants have shown interest in the logo competition on the topic of Developed India 2024-Innovative India and the PPT presentation on the topic of Science for Sustainable Future.

There will be seven types of competitions. There will be a total of seven types of competitions on different subjects in the Science Utsav. These include extempore competition on eco-friendly self-sustainable future, cooking competition on the topic Eat Healthy, Stay Healthy, PPT presentation on the topic Science for Sustainable Development, ad competition on the topic use of organic products and better life, DIY competition on Sustainable Craft, developed Logo competition and street drama competition on India theme are included.
Why does this kind of event happen every year?
Professor Dr. Piyush Rai said that this event is organized every year in the college to tell them about the innovative talent of the students and the role of science in sustainable development. The competition is open to all colleges. This gives students an opportunity to know each other's talent. Till now, graduate and post-graduate students of many colleges including Magadh Mahila College, Ganga Devi College, Zakir Hussain College, JD Women's College, Patna Women's College have applied.
