UPPSC PCS Interview date 2024: interview start from today, result will be declared this week latest news update
Latest Updated 08/01/2024: Interviews of 451 candidates successful in the main examination of Combined State/Superior Subordinate Services (PCS) 2023 will start from Monday in Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. Interviews will be held from 8 to 12 January. If we look at the recent results, the final result of PCS can be declared this week.
- Interviews of 451 candidates will start from Monday
Out of total 254 vacancies in PCS 2023, selection is to be done on 150 vacancies on the basis of written examination and interview. Against these 150 posts, 451 candidates have been declared successful for the interview. These include maximum 75 posts of Deputy Jailer under Prison Administration and Correctional Services. Apart from this, under Group One, 41 Deputy Collector or SDM, 42 Deputy SP, three Superintendent of Jail (Jailor), 17 Treasurer/Account Officer, 10 Tax Assessment Officer, eight District Minority Welfare Officer, District Backward Class Welfare Officer. The Commission had declared the result for 174 posts of Dental Surgeon under the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department on 23 December, within 24 hours of the end of the interviews on December 22. Before that, the result for 303 posts of Uttar Pradesh Judicial Service Civil Judge Junior Division (PCS-J) Recruitment 2022 was declared on August 30, within 48 hours of the end of the interview on 28 August.
Entrance exam for Diploma in IERT in seven cities
- Interviews will be held in UP Public Service Commission from January 8 to 12.
- Selection will be done on 150 posts out of total 254 vacancies
Applications are open for admission in the new session 2024-25 in Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology (IERT). This time the institute will conduct the entrance examination in seven more cities of the state apart from Prayagraj. This examination is proposed on 11th and 14th June.
