Latest Updated 04/01/2024: Appointment letters will be handed over to 25 thousand teachers selected in the second phase by Bihar Public Service Commission on January 13 at Gandhi Maidan. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will hand over appointment letters to these candidates. At the same time, appointment letter distribution ceremonies will be held in other districts of the state also on this day. In this, the remaining teachers will be given provisional appointment letters.

Along with this, appointment letters will also be handed over to 2772 teachers with supplementary results in the first phase. In this regard, the Education Department has sent guidelines to all divisions and districts on Wednesday. Teachers appointed in the first phase by BPSC were also given provisional appointment letters in other districts including Gandhi Maidan on 2 November 2023. On similar lines, programs have been planned in the second phase. In the second phase, more than 92 thousand candidates have been declared successful, whose counseling is going on in the districts.
Teachers who have received appointment letters at Gandhi Maidan in Patna will be sent from the districts by buses. Teachers will be brought to Patna in more than 600 buses. To make this program successful, a meeting has been scheduled in the department on January 6. Teachers from 29 districts of six divisions including Patna will come to Gandhi Maidan. Teachers from all the districts of three divisions Bhagalpur, Kosi and Purnia will not come to Gandhi Maidan. They will be given provisional appointment letters in the district itself. All the selected teachers from Patna, Nalanda and Vaishali districts will come to Patna on 13th.
