Bihar Board Inter Exam date 2024: start from tomorrow, 13 lakh candidates will appear
677921 boys while 626431 girls will participate.

Latest Updated 31/01/2024: Bihar Board Inter annual examination is starting from 1st February. The exam will be held till 12th February. 13,04, 352 applicants will appear in the examination. These include 6,77,921 boys & 6,26,431 girl students. Whereas in Patna district, 77,012 candidates will appear, of which 36,524 are girls & 40,488 are boys. The board has set up 1,523 centers across Bihar, including 78 centers in Patna. Bihar School Examination Board Chairman Anand Kishore said that on the first day, on 1 February, the examination of Biology (Science) and Philosophy (Arts) will be held in the first shift. The exam will be conduct from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm. Whereas in the second shift, the examination of Economics (Arts and Commerce) will start from 2 o'clock, which will continue till 5:15.
On the first day, biology and philosophy exams were held in the first shift and economics exams were held in the second shift. 78 centers were set up in Patna and 1,523 centers were set up in the state.
Entry into the center will be available till 30 minutes before the commencement of examination. Permission to enter the examination hall will be given only till 9 am in the first shift and till 1:30 pm in the second shift. At the same time, there will be one invigilator for every 25 candidates. Candidates and invigilators will not carry mobile phones in the examination hall. Section 144 is applicable at all centres. Bihar Board has provide the necessary instructions to all DM-SPs.

Videography arrangements
CCTV cameras will be installed at the centre. There will be one videographer for every 500 candidates. In objective & long answer questions, option of 100% additional questions will be provide, that is, double the number of questions will be asked than the number of questions to be solved.
Unique ID also released
BSEB Unique ID has been issued to every student. Question paper in all subjects will be in 10 set codes. Disabled candidates will get additional time of 20 minutes per hour. You will get 15 minutes to read the question paper.
Control room will work from today
A control room has been established for the successful conduct of inter examinations. The control room will function from 6 am on January 31 to 6 pm on February 12.
