Apply for new engineering institute of UP till 31st January latest news update 2024

Latest Updated 08/01/2024: The application process for opening new technical institutes, pharmacy institutes and starting new courses in the new session 2024-25 will start from January 8. Online applications will be made till 31 January. To keep the process completely transparent, offline applications will not be accepted. Principal Secretary of Technical Education Council M Devraj has issued orders in this regard.


According to the new government order, online application will have to be made to open new technical institutes and Diploma in Pharmacy institutes. NOC will be issued to technical and pharmacy institutions online only. Institutions will have to deposit a registration fee of Rs 100 along with an affidavit along with all online applications received till 31 January. After this, these institutions will be scrutinized by the Technical Education Council and a report will be prepared. The complete report of acceptance and rejection of the application will be uploaded on the Eurise portal.

Rejected institutions will get three days to submit revised submissions. After this re-scrutiny will be done. After scrutiny, all the applications will go online to the District Magistrate by 15th February. The recommendation report will be uploaded online after verifying the land and map of the applicant organization through the Additional District Magistrate. After this, the Technical Education Council Secretary will issue NOC with digital signature by 31st March.

A committee has been formed for opening of new diploma level technical institutes (including Diploma in Pharmacy) that have come online, new courses, increase in admission capacity, reduction in NOC. The chairman of this committee will be the Additional District Magistrate or Chief Development Officer nominated by the District Magistrate. The Principal and one HOD level officer each nominated by the Director of Technical Education will be members. Members will be nominated from their district to inspect institutions in another district. The committee formed for degree level institutions will also have the Chief Development Officer/Additional District Magistrate nominated by the District Magistrate as the Chairman. The AKTU Vice-Chancellor will nominate professor level people as members.
