Latest Updated 14/01/2024: On behalf of Bihar School Examination Committee, Crossword Competition 2023-24 was held in BSEB on Saturday in the administrative building of the examination committee. Aman Kumar (11th), student of Gandhi Inter College, Nawada, stood first in the state level competition.


Virat Chauhan, Class 10 student of Utkrisht High School, Majhua, Purnia stood second and Roshan Kumar, Class 11 student of Kalavati SS School, Ambakalan, Sheohar stood third. As a prize, the first winner was given a check of Rs 11,000, the second winner was given Rs 8,000 and the third winner was given a check of Rs 6,000. Apart from this, medal, citation and memento were awarded.

Besides, the student who secured first place in the district level crossword competition of each district was given a check of Rs. 8,000 along with a medal and a citation. The second and third place winners at the district level have been awarded at the District Education Officer level. The examination committee said that 11 thousand 500 students from across the state had registered to participate in the crossword competition. In this competition, an amount of Rs. 7 lakh, 50 thousand was given as prize to the students at all levels. The objective of this examination is to develop the intellectual ability and linguistic knowledge of the students studying in class 9 to 12.
