Latest Updated 29/12/2023: If the name or photo in the Aadhaar card of teacher candidates selected in the second phase by Bihar Public Service Commission is changed within six months, it will be seriously investigated.
The Education Department has instructed the district officials that the thumb impressions of all the teachers who have contributed in the first phase will be matched. A machine will be called for this. The contributed teachers will be matched with the thumb impressions stored in BPSC. New teachers will come to the District Education Office along with the Principal of their school and their first impression will be collated. One lakh teachers have contributed so far. This work will be done in the presence of the magistrate. This decision has been taken after three cases were found to be fake.
The Education Department has told the districts that when the candidates come, they should go to the M-Aadhaar app and satisfy themselves about what changes have been made in the Aadhaar card in the last six months.
