Latest Updated 28/12/2023: There is a possibility of increase in the age limit for application for recruitment to 60 thousand posts of constable in UP Police. After Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced three years relaxation in the maximum age limit for police recruitment candidates, the process of revamping the online application website was started once again on Wednesday. With this, online applications will be automatically approved as per decision to increase the age limit.
After the announcement of CM, it is expected that around 30 to 32 lakh applications will be received. Because the recruitment board was likely to receive 25 lakh applications up to the maximum age limit of 22 years. The increase in the age limit by three years is expected to increase the number of candidates by about five to seven lakhs. The process of making changes in the website and online application related software was continuing till late night under the supervision of senior officials of the board.
