Latest Updated 24/12/2023: Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) on Saturday released the result of Biology and Chemistry subjects in Jharkhand Laboratory Assistant Competitive Examination-2023. The Commission has released the result on the basis of merit-cum-options. 168 candidates have been successful in Biology subject and 203 candidates have been successful in Chemistry subject.
- A total of 371 candidates were successful in the examination
- 203 candidates successful in Chemistry
24 posts in Biology and 14 in Chemistry are left vacant. The result of these vacancies will be released after the second phase of certificate scrutiny to be conducted by the Commission. The score of the category wise final selected candidate will be released later.

In Biology, 70 candidates have been successful in unreserved, 48 in Scheduled Tribe, 18 in Scheduled Caste, 10 in Extremely Backward Class 1, 6 in Backward Class 2 and 16 in Economically Weaker Section. At the same time, in Chemistry, 87 candidates from unreserved, 54 from Scheduled Tribe, 18 from Scheduled Caste, 12 from Extremely Backward Class I, 11 from Backward Class II and 21 from Economically Weaker Section have been successful.
At the same time, the applications of 310 candidates of Jharkhand Industrial Training Officer Competitive Examination have been canceled on the charge of appearing in the examination of more than one trade.
These candidates had appeared in the examination of the same trade. After receiving this complaint, the Commission has reviewed and canceled the applications of all these candidates.
