JAC Jharkhand: 99 examination centers in matriculation (10th) and 92 examination centers in intermediate (12th) latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 13/12/2023: A decision has been taken on the examination centers for the matriculation and intermediate examinations. For the matriculation examination starting from February 6, preparations have been made to create 99 examination centers in Dhanbad and 92 examination centers in Inter. The list of centers is being finalized after discussing the proposal in the meeting organized by the district administration. 29,531 students from 182 schools have been registered in the Annual Secondary Examination 2024. The examination will be held in 99 centres. Meanwhile, 28,143 students from 75 schools and colleges registered for the intermediate examination.
The exam will be taken in 92 centres. In the year 2023, 103 examination centers were made for 181 schools in Matriculation and 87 examination centers were made for 74 schools-colleges in Intermediate. That means there has been a decrease of four examination centers in Matriculation and an increase of five examination centers in Inter. Students who failed in the year 2023 will also join in the year 2024. For this reason, 60 thousand candidates will appear in both the examinations. It is also discussed that no degree college has been made the examination centre. For this reason, centers have been set up in middle schools.

Keeping in mind the convenience of the students, a center is being built in the block itself and at a short distance, but due to less capacity of candidates for the inter examination in Jharia block, some centers are being made in Balliapur and in some schools of Dhanbad block. Preparations are on to build centers in Jharia and Baghmara. One or two centers from Govindpur can also be shifted to nearby blocks.
