Breaking News: 1753 applications for 1670 posts for the various vacant posts of Gram Panchayat and Gram Kachari in 61 wards of Bihar
Latest Updated 17/12/2023: By-elections are being held on various vacant posts of Gram Panchayat and Gram Kachari in 61 wards in all the districts of the state. 1753 nomination papers have been received for 1670 posts. The last date for filing nomination papers was till 15 December 2023.
In this, 539 nomination papers have been received for 353 vacant posts of Gram Panchayat. Similarly, 848 nomination papers have been received for 1239 posts of Village Court Panch, 133 for 20 posts of Mukhiya, 132 for 34 posts of Sarpanch, 70 for 20 posts of Panchayat Samiti member and 31 nominations have been received for 4 posts of Council member. All these letters will be reviewed between 16 and 18 December. After this the final list will be published.
